Nazareth Home Named One of America’s Best Nursing Homes
Newsweek ranks Nazareth home #1 nursing home in Kentucky
Louisville, Ky. (September 25, 2024) — Nazareth Home is one of America’s Best Nursing Homes in the United States, according to Newsweek. The Louisville-based long-term care and recovery community has 118 certified beds and received the honor based on its exemplary care for residents
The rankings, which were officially released this week by Newsweek, recognize leading nursing homes across 25 states with the highest number of facilities, as determined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Nazareth Home’s inclusion on the list underscores the excellence of its care, which was carefully evaluated using four key data sources:
- Quality Metrics: CMS data to assess medical key performance indicators.
- National Online Survey: Input from thousands of medical professionals, including registered nurses, nursing home managers, and other care providers.
- Accreditation Data: Information provided by The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
- Google Reviews: Used as a proxy to evaluate resident satisfaction.
“We are incredibly honored to be named one of America’s Best Nursing Homes for 2025,” said Mary Haynes, CEO of Nazareth Home. “This award is a testament to the dedication of our staff and their unwavering focus on ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. We are proud to be acknowledged among the top facilities in the country, and we will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do.”
