A Reflection of 2023
As we reflect on the past year, we also look ahead with hope and expectations to what is possible. We appreciate that we are here in this place because of the commitment, dedication, and planning of many leaders who are passionate about care for the aged. We are challenged and inspired by the life of Mother Catherine Spalding, who responded to the needs of the community with love and courage. Nazareth Home continues in that same spirit.
In our purpose to serve the community, we take our own advocacy seriously. Our organization is composed of the aged and healthcare staff, and in today’s culture, each of these groups are seeking ways to share their voice. We believe that our philosophy and culture at Nazareth Home, our person-centered way of living, is a demonstration of a community where voices are heard, and every person is affirmed.
While the impression in the marketplace of long-term care is seldom positive, we demonstrate we are a 2022 and 2023 Top Workplace winner through the Courier-Journal and nationally recognized for our clinical performance by U.S. News & World Report. We are committed to creating a meaningful community of living both for those we serve and for those we employ. By implementing innovative care technologies, such as the TrueLoo smart toilet seat, we bring the best in wellness to the people we serve. Through Nazareth Home Forward and our employee scholarship program, we support career advancement and the professional goals of our team members.
With the help of many stakeholders like you, we look forward to 2024 and plans to grow our ministry with new programs for aging adults and their families and those interested in long-term care careers. We are grateful for your support.
